Giro d’Italia – Family Ride

The Giro d'Italia - Family Ride is a free event open to the whole family , adults and children, eager to spend a day of sport pedaling through the streets of the center of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The event, organized by Roma Capitale and RCS Sports & Events, in partnership with Decathlon, will take place on Sunday 28 May on the occasion of the Grand Arrival and already has over 3500 members.

The non-competitive ride will start at 9.45 from the pink arch of the Giro d'Italia located in via dei Fori Imperiali, in the same point where the arrival is expected after a journey of 6.8 kilometers entirely closed to traffic on the city streets of the capital.

Giroland

The weekend at the end of May will be dedicated to Pink and fun. The Giroland village will be open in Piazza del Popolo on Saturday from 6pm to 10pm and Sunday from 10am to 7pm . The public will be able to attend the show of the Caravan of the Giro, scheduled for Saturday evening at 21 and repeated on Sunday afternoon.

In addition to Giroland, Rome will also welcome the Giro-E , whose arrival is scheduled for 3 pm, and its Green Fun Village, full of stands dedicated to the world of sustainability.
