The presenter and showgirl Adriana Volpe will be the godmother of the XX edition of Run life which will take place in Florence on Sunday 2 October thus opening the city initiatives scheduled for Pinktober, the month dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer. The event - which combines sport, culture and solidarity - will be kicked off by Cesare Prandelli, former Fiorentina coach and former coach of the Italy national football team. 20 YEARS - To celebrate the twenty years of this event, on Saturday 1 October the Municipality of Florence decided to light up the city gates in green, like the color of the 2022 shirt. “ It will be a twentieth edition full of surprises – said Bona Frescobaldi, president of the Corri la vita Onlus Association – which will see personalities from the entertainment world and many friends who have supported our activities for twenty years and who, even in the most difficult times, have always been by our side with their generosity and attention, testifying their solidarity in deeds and with growing enthusiasm ”.
FAMOUS TESTIMONIALS – From the early morning, the stage set up along the Arno in the spaces of viale Lincoln, at Parco delle Cascine, will be animated by friends and 20 testimonials of Corri la vita, including Fiorello and Aida Yespica who will interact with the public and connect in the throughout the day also through the official channels of the event (Facebook and Instagram). 20 Cerion ISPRO-LILT patients will also speak from the stage, wearing the shirts of all 20 editions to testify how the funds raised by the non-profit organization in these 20 years have served to support and help the many women affected by breast cancer.
All participants are invited to share photos and stories on social channels using the official hashtags #corrilavita2022, #clv2022 and #corrilavita20 tagging @corrilavita.
The organization of the event has studied two new routes diversified by degree of difficulty: a first route of about 10.5 km, the second itinerary of about 6.2 km.
NOT ONLY RACE BUT CULTURE – Sunday 2 October will be a great day of solidarity, sport and culture: as per tradition the participants – who will have previously registered on www.corrilavita.it – will have the opportunity to visit exhibitions and museums in Florence for free throughout the day, simply by wearing the Corri la vita 2022 shirt or showing the receipt for the donation made.
